Will insurance pay for a hearing test?
The majority of health insurance companies, including HMO’s, PPO’s and Medicare, pay for hearing tests. Often, a referral is required from the patient’s physician. Hearing Solutions is a provider for most insurance companies and HMO’s in the Bay Area. Please contact your insurer to determine the appropriate referral process.

Will health insurance pay for hearing aids?
Increasingly, health insurance policies are covering at least a portion of the cost of hearing aids. Hearing Solutions is a provider for most of the health plans in the Bay Area. We will be happy to contact your insurer to determine your hearing aid benefits.  In spite of current state budget cuts, hearing aids are still a covered benefit for patients with Medi-Cal.
